The Scott Family Amazeum IS OPEN! Please read this page before your visit! This is a museum for children and families! Everything is hands-on and designed to be touched, climbed on, and interacted with.  Exhibits are designed to engage the imagination and to bring art and science to life.

The Amazeum creates a fun environment where risk-taking, imagining, problem-solving, discovery, collaboration and exploration bring children and adults together to learn and grow. Click the graphic below to see the “Experiences” page!

Amazeum - Multiple Play Areas

Exhibits
The graphic above shows just a few of Amazeum’s exhibits – many of which are actually “labs” or rooms where supervised “play to learn” activities take place. The exhibits are designed to promote imagination and creative thinking for children and families of all ages. There are two spaces dedicated for toddlers 2 and under. The majority of the spaces are designed with children ages 4-9 in mind. A series of learning spaces, known as Innovation Alley, including the 3M Tinkering Hub, the Art Studio, and Hershey’s Lab offer deeper learning opportunities that can be enjoyed by older elementary and middle school age students. The Amazeum offers a variety of educational programs for a range of audiences.

As for stay-at-home “play to learn” experiences, the Amazeum’s website has a whole section named Amazeum YOU! Just scroll down this page and you’ll see a whole grid of hands-on activities, taught by experts and museum employees. These activities offer instruction in art, creativity, science, tinkering, engineering and more!
